Well we're finally here. Had to get down to getting settled in and getting the network in a workable state. The house is equipped with a WTG54G, but the state was "I think it works?". I brought my own and jacked it in to the cat5 that was strung, literally, from the house next door. I think I'll unplug my gear during an electrical storm.

I managed to get everything but the office dell laptop working on wireless, why it is not working, I have no idea, so I have to hardwire it into the WAP or use two of the neighbors open WAPs instead. Social

I should have the webcam set up tomorrow I hope, it has to be hardwired as well, the WGA54G wireless gaming adapter I had hoped to use is not cooperating as well.

The heat is tolerable, the breeze really helps. The house has really wide, deep eaves on the deck so its very nice in the shade. Got to get back to work tomorrow, hopefully the network here will hold up. So far so good.

Mosquitos are eating me alive.
