Liem: End of days

Well here it is: our last day in Antigua. At times it seemed to last so long but most of the time it seems like it just flew by. I worked and got some packing done. I took the opportunity to have one last snorkel at the nearby Galleon Beach.

Liem: Carnival!

Today was the first and last taste of Antigua's 2009 Carnival, the Parade of Troupes and Group Las Lap. This parade is the culmination of the entire week that comprises the Carnival celebration here. All of the monarchs have been crowned.

Liem: Money does grow in trees in Antigua

One thing is for sure, Antigua has no shortage of mangoes. You can't drive 100 yards without passing someone selling them on the side of the road or at an intersection, and you can see the trees everywhere, just laden with them.

Liem: Left beachless

Today was an off-day. Jenn is down for the count with a wicked flu, so stuck close to home for most of the morning. Cohen and I figured it might be a good day to hit some of the sites that only us boys would like: the airport and Fort James.

Liem: Trinidad is the snack food capital of the Caribbean
