30 Days in Antigua and Barbuda

After a slow morning, we finally got out of the door around noon and headed up to see Betty's Hope sugar mill and then Half Moon Bay. Well, we never made Betty's Hope, but we did have some good beach time.

Two beaches in two days. Yes! After breakfast we drove up Fig Tree road back to the Epicurian grocer then on to St. Johns for their Saturday market to pick up some fresh veggies.

We finally went to bed about 12:30am local time. The beds are pretty firm, but not bad. Surprisingly we didn't need the A/C last night. The fans were just right with all the slatted windows opened.

After several months of looking at pictures of the house we'd rented here in Antigua, its almost surreal to be sitting here now in the picture! Liem and I have dreamed of staying for an extended period on an island for years.
